Erik Morrell, DC
Dr. Erik Morrell was born and raised in Bismarck, ND where he graduated in 2012. While in high school he loved sports and played soccer, basketball, and track & field. He would attend North Dakota State University after high school and graduated in 2016 with a bachelors in Exercise Science. After undergraduate school he decided to continue his education by attending chiropractic school. He moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he attended Logan College of Chiropractic and graduated in December of 2019. While at Chiropractic school he found the sport of Olympic weightlifting and would spend 2 years competing in the sport. He has always had a love of sports, the gym and being active. While in school he discovered how much he loves keeping both athletes and families pain free and active. After graduation Dr. Erik started practicing in Bozeman as an associate and has enjoyed treating patients of the Gallatin Valley since January of 2020.
While at school Dr. Morrell was introduced to the Motion Palpation Institute which is the base of how he practices today. He has been certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and therapy parts A & B, Dry needling, SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment). He also has a background of training in DNS (dynamic neuromuscular stability) and IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation). Since he has been in practice, he has become certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) for level 1 and level 2 medical.
In is free time, Dr. Erik enjoys spending time with his wife Crystal and their two dogs Kota and Haze. When it comes to his favorite outdoor hobbies, you’ll find him at the golf course in the summer, in the woods hunting in the fall and on the ski hill in the winter.
